Terms of Service

RideClan is a companion app for motorcycle riders that provides live location sharing among riders in a group, turn by turn navigation, ride recording and statistics, group coordination, leaderboards, and safety features such as SOS alerts. RideClan is an aid, not a substitute for your own attention, judgement, and safe riding.

You must be legally allowed to ride a motorcycle in your jurisdiction and be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet these requirements.

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure, for the accuracy of your profile, and for activity under your account.

Do not interact with the App while riding. Set up your ride before you start and keep your attention on the road. Navigation, maps, traffic, and distance information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed, so do not rely on the App for decisions that affect your safety, and always obey traffic laws and real world conditions. Live location and group features depend on your device, GPS, and network and may be delayed or unavailable. SOS and crash detection are best effort convenience features that may not detect an incident, may raise false alerts, and must not be relied on as an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the official emergency services directly. You are solely responsible for your own riding, your safety, and compliance with the law.

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, share another person location or personal data without their consent, interfere with or reverse engineer the App or its systems, use the App to harass, endanger, or harm others, or misuse safety features such as raising false SOS alerts. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

Some features are offered as a paid subscription. Pricing and inclusions are shown in the App at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by a third party payment provider and we do not store your card or payment credentials. A free trial, where offered, is limited as described in the App and may end when its ride limit or time window is reached, whichever comes first. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, payments are non refundable, and refunds and cancellations follow the applicable app store or payment provider policies.

You may create content such as ride names, community stops, notes, and group details. You are responsible for that content and confirm you have the right to share it. You grant us a limited licence to store and display your content as needed to operate the App.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.

The App, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by RideClan and its licensors and protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose.

The App relies on third party services including Google, Supabase, and a payment provider. Your use of those services through the App may also be subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third party services.

The App is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideClan and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including any reliance on navigation, location, or safety features. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes here with a new Last updated date, and for material changes we will notify you in the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the App.
